C - Canva and Chrome
Do you want to spice up your lessons with cool imagery? If so, Canva is the perfect tool for you. The web-based app makes it incredibly easy to add text overlays to images, along with icons or snazzy borders. The service is free but users can buy images for as low as 1 USD if they need an image or if they are not happy with their original photo. To access the service, users need to create an account online.
The user interface is very easy to use and Canva provides templates for various dimentions depending on the specified use of the visual. For example users can create artwork for web images, social media banners, video thumbnails and the like.
Chrome is the most widely used web-browser in the world, and it is considered the most stable and secure web browser by IT professionals. For teachers though, and for participants of the A to Z of Free Course, Chrome is very useful for many of the tutorials in the series use Google products. Therefore, when you use Chrome and you have a Google account, accessing all the tools provided by Googled is very straighforward and stable. While you can access Google accounts from other browsers, for stability and functionality purposes, Chrome is the best option.
